We have recently worked on these lovely Munroe luxury invites in Moss green.

The bride and groom chose our luxury handmade wedding invitations from the Munroe colllection with information cards added.  These included reply card, information on hotels, travel and a wedding list. 

Prices for luxury invitations start at £4.40.  Information cards start at £1.10

The Big Wedding

The Big Wedding is a romantic comedy about a modern family trying to survive a weekend wedding celebration that has the potential to become a full blown family fiasco. 

The handmade wedding invitations are posted, the wedding is planned and a long divorced couple (Robert De Niro and Diane Keaton) fake being married as their family renuites for the wedding.

Premieres in the UK 12th November 2012

When should we make the deadline for wedding rsvps?

Make your RSVP date 2 to 3 weeks before the wedding date.

This will allow enough time for your to get all your answers back from your guests and leave 1 week to finalize your table plan.

Coordinating with your handmade wedding invitations, our RSVP reply postcard has been designed to easily be posted back to the host.  There is a place for guests to write their name/s, any dietary information, return stamp position and host's address on the reverse side.

How soon should I order my wedding invitations?

We think, the sooner is definitely better.  

When ordering your handmade wedding invitations, it might be best to decide when you want them to go out to your guests and work backwards.

Things to consider -

2-3 weeks proof and print time.
1-5 business days shipping time.
How many days for your to hand address your invites.
1-5 days for guests to receive them once mailed.

These are all practical things to think about giving yourself at least 4 months prior to your wedding date as a general time frame.

Painted egg cup wedding favours

Wouldn't these make wonderful mini gifts for your guests to take home after they've been to your wedding?

Wooden egg cups could be painted using colours based on your handmade wedding invitations and wedding theme, then filled with cactus or small wild flowers. A fantastic idea for an eco-friendly wedding favour.

plum jam wedding favours

The plums in our orchard are only just ready for eating.  This year they are very late due to the heavy rainfall we had in July.  

We've picked a few and made plum jam with them.

Wouldn't a small jar of jam make a lovely wedding favour for your guests to take home? 

Here are some ideas using linen fabric and circle labels...

and as an alternative, printed paper with string ties.  Each label could have the bride and grooms names printed along with the wedding date.

They could also coordinate with your handmade wedding invitations and wedding theme.
