handmade wedding invitations and extras

Before Christmas, we enjoyed designing and producing Fiona and Mark's stationery for their wedding in August this year.

These are the results...

The couple chose the luxury Kensington invitations with grape coloured floral print and matching satin ribbon. Included with their handmade wedding invitations was a reply card, A4 information sheet, 'special' menu for children, wallet and paper tie. All luxury invitations have guest names printed.  This service is included in the price.

Prices for luxury invitations start at £4.40 each, reply card start at £1.80 each, information sheet at £1.80 each and 'special' menu at £2.20 each
(all prices mentioned are for between 31 to 100 items) .

Film - The Intouchables

I would suggest it's worth taking time out from your hectic wedding plans and organizing your handmade wedding invitations, to watch a great inspirational film.

The Intouchables is a French film (it's so good that you forget you're reading subtitles) based on a true story about two men that would not normally have met each other.

A handicapped millionaire (Francois Cluzet) who was injured in a paragliding accident and a street smart ex-con caretaker (Omar Sy).

An uplifting comedy about friendship, trust and human possibility.

Real wedding - sweet table

Sweet tables have become the latest 'must have' at weddings.  They are a chance to add an extra dash of fun at your reception.

You may like the 'sweet shop' idea like the one at Heather & Colin's July wedding.....

Pink stripey paper bags waiting to be filled with traditional English nostalgic sweet shop finds. Displayed in various sized bottles and jars is great entertainment for guests no matter what the age is.

A sign/label telling your guests to 'help yourself' is a definite must.  Our A6 size signs with beautiful coordinated coloured satin ribbon bow start at £2.50 each.  They are designed to match your handmade wedding invitations and reception stationery.

Real Wedding - table plan

The table plan at Heather and Colin's wedding (recent customers of ours) was based on our Kidman collection.  It's simple yet sophisticated 'look' works equally well in the rustic 13th century Tithe Barn setting that they chose for the wedding reception.

Sat on an easel, the table plan made it easy for guests to read their names quickly and locate the correct table they were to be sat at. Trimmings of Plum coloured satin ribbon made a striking contrast to the natural white board and flamboyant font headings.

Table plans start at £75.00 for A3 size. All table plans and reception stationery have been designed to coordinate with our handmade wedding invitations.

Thank you Heather and Colin, for sharing your lovely photos from your special day.

Table names from a real wedding

As promised, more gorgeous photos from Heather and Colin's wedding in July 2012.

Their venue, the 13th century Tithe Barn nestled in the main garden of the The Barns Hotel, Bedford was an ideal backdrop to their lovely English wedding.

Table names from the Kidman collection (which matched their handmade wedding invitations and other items of their stationery) with Plum coloured satin ribbon bows, made a huge statement on the reception tables.  Guests could clearly see the table that they were to be seating at.

Remember your wedding should be a reflection of the both of you.  Chose names that mean alot to you.....the couple chose place names from around world.

Flowers coordinated beautifully with the Plum colour theme.

Thank you so much Heather and Colin for sharing photos from your wedding day.

You may remember Heather and Colin's wedding from our post in September 2012.

Well, I'm so glad to be sharing more beautiful photos from their wedding.

Heather and Colin chose the Kidman collection with a plum satin ribbon for their stationery. We produced their handmade wedding invitations and everything from table plan to sweet table signs.

Over the next few days I'll be showing you photos from their wedding day.  To start with though, here are the order of service in use at St Andrew's Church, Biggleswade where their wedding ceremony was held.
