wedding invitations in pink

When I think of weddings, I often think of pink - not a vibrant hot colour but something soft like a blush pink.

We have recently made some handmade wedding invitations using such a colour which have a pale pink satin ribbon bow.  They have a timeless elegance about them that would suit most wedding themes.

Our classic invitations start at £2.75 which includes an envelope and guest name's printed.

fruity wedding favours

Summer weddings need summer inspired wedding favours.

What about edible wedding favours?  Cherries, strawberries and raspberries all seasonal fruits at this time of year.

Here are a few ideas which are very cheap to produce but very effective as well...

Fresh strawberries in cute little bags with the bride and grooms names.

It would be best to coordinate your wedding favours with your handmade wedding invitations and stationery to achieve a stronger 'look'.

bows and paper ties on invitations

We understand that not all of our customers like to un-tie and tie bows or add paper ties to our handmade wedding invitations.

In each envelope of our luxury invitations is a small card with the guest name printed on it.  This is to help our customers distinguish which invite belongs to each guest without having to un-tie or tie bows or add paper ties.

The customer must remember to remove this card before posting.  We always add a covering letter with their order, to remind them of this.

navy and white wedding

A wedding will stop for nothing.... including the rain.

These were taken of a wedding that took place at the church across the road from our office. The heavens opened just at the bridal party walked up to the church.

They chose a navy and white theme which coordinated with handmade wedding invitations, flowers and bridesmaids.

We wish the Bride and Groom much happiness for a future together.

honeymoon in Greece

I'm missing the sun. At this time of the year, we should be producing handmade wedding invitations with the sun shining through our window but no it still rains and is dull.

I went in search of the sun (via the internet) and this is what I found....a sunny piece of heaven on the Greek Island of Tinos in the Cyclades (or close to Mykonos).  The villa consists of two houses connected together. The decor is simple and beautiful.

For those wanting a holiday or honeymoon, the villa is for rent via House Away.

Buttonholes for men

A buttonhole or boutonniere (French for buttonhole) is a small, single flower or grouping of two or three worn on the left lapel of the Groom and other men in the wedding ceremony.

The flowers often coordinate with the Brides bouquet.  They are chosen to suit the season and the colour scheme of the wedding.

More traditional at a first glimpse, then look closer the flowers are made up of cactus types.

what our customers have to say

Our latest testimonial from a satisfied Mother of the Bride...

"It has been a pleasure to work with Elaine at eb1. Work is prompt, extremely neat, very artistic and delivery also very good.
I have nothing but compliments. The whole family are more than satisfied with the service and we already have had compliments back from guests. Would recommend this lady's work strongly!"  Marie-Annick Maddick

For Marie's daughters wedding, they chose handmade wedding invitations in the Leonardo collection in the colour Liberty.

Italian wedding

If you've been reading this blog for a while now, it is known that if we take a few days off from making handmade wedding invitations and escape for a relax, it seems that I spot a wedding!

Well it happened again in Lago Maggiore near Milan.

What could be more beautiful than arriving at your wedding via boat?

eyelets on our wedding stationery

All of our save the dates and most of our handmade wedding invitations have eyelets.

For those who don't know... eyelets are the little bit of metal that edge holes.

We use them to strengthen the card if a ribbon is tied through them.  They are very practical but look lovely at the same time.

our recent work

Kate and Ed's wedding reception stationery deserved a mention today. It's very striking!

They chose the Winslet in black for their handmade wedding invitations

and later ordered table names ...

3 different versions of the Winslet menu - one for the boys, one for the girls and a vegetarian option...

 Order of Service...

and table plan ...

I think you'll agree they look very stylish for their Black Tie wedding.

glass jars and flowers

Nothing looks prettier as a wedding centre piece than glass jars and flowers. Large or small jars with simple and beautiful flowers are just the easiest arrangement but probably the most effective.

Here are some to inspire...

These are interesting - they have small labels on them.  At eb1 wedding invitations, we could do something similar to match your handmade wedding invitations and stationery.
